Koffi Enoc Elom Amessinou, from Morocco, a doctoral student jointly supervised by the École des Mines de Rabat and the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT), will present his research on <Advanced Treatment of Recycled Water to improve Lead-Zinc Flotation>. His career, at the intersection of environmental engineering and the circular economy, perfectly illustrates the importance of innovation for the sustainable management of mining and water resources.

Issa Boukary Maman Nasser, a graduate of the International Institute for Water and Environmental Engineering (2iE) in Ouagadougou and president of the Association of Young Water and Sanitation Professionals of Niger, is interested in industrial wastewater treatment. He will present a <Technical and Economic Study on the Installation of a Wastewater Treatment Unit at the BRAKINA Brewery, using a Membrane Bioreactor Coupled with Nanofiltration>.

Kodjo Sonou Yéniko Césaire is an engineer specializing in water and climate-related crisis and disaster management, and president of the Youth Organization for Water and Climate Change in Benin. He will share the results of his research on the <Vulnerability of Water Supply and Sanitation Systems to Climate Change in the Municipality of Dangbo>. His approach combines scientific expertise and community involvement to strengthen the resilience of local communities.

Pekeyi Malaguièhèwa Grâce, from Togo, holds a master's degree from the University of Abomey-Calavi and is a doctoral student at the Federal University of Technology Minna in Nigeria. She will present her work on the <Spread of Leachate from the Former Agoè Nyivé Landfill, using a Geophysical and Geochemical Approach>. She is particularly interested in the integration of scientific tools into sustainable water and sanitation management.

Finally, Lekemo Mbaveng Denis, a doctoral student at the University of Dschang in Cameroon, will present his research on <Models for the Management and Recovery of Household Bio-waste>. His work compares the experiences of the cities of Dschang and Nantes in transforming waste into compost, helping to reduce its impact on soil and water resources.

Through these presentations, the Maji Africa webinar confirms its role as a right platform for showcasing innovative research conducted by young African scientists. These initiatives, rooted in local contexts while offering global solutions, provide concrete answers to challenges related to water, sanitation, climate change, and sustainable resource management.
