AfWASA-AHK: towards a new dynamic of collaboration

On October 22, AfWASA Executive Director Olivier Gosso welcomed Nathalie Kolbe, Director of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK) , accompanied by Project Manager Sandrine Sigui, to his office.

The meeting focused primarily on reviving cooperation between the two institutions.

This new dynamic aims to strengthen the professionalization of exchanges and promote joint participation in several major activities, notably the 23rd AfWASA International Congress and Exhibition, scheduled for February 9-13, 2026 in Yaoundé (Cameroon), and the IFAT trade fair, scheduled for May 2026 in Munich (Germany).
Together, AfWASA and the AHK reaffirm their commitment to sustainable, innovative German-African cooperation that delivers solutions for the water and sanitation sector.
